Does your retriever's misbehavior ruin hunts?

Our common goal is simple:

To Help You Train Your Retriever for the Field

Leatherstocking Hunting RetrieverAssociation is a not-for-Profit retriever training group located in Central New York State. We are a group of retriever owners and although most of us hunt with our dogs we welcome those that just want to learn and earn titles too. We meet frequently throughout the year to  train our dogs, to test our progress, and to share information and good times.

Test Preparation

To prepare for hunt season, the Leatherstocking members test their trained retrievers against the North American Hunting Retriever Standard. read more
